Not enough? More like... um...

You know you're my hero. We both know that.

That thunder made me look outside. >:(

But to be honest, this is professional. Professional like a pornstar. Who's been doing it for awhile. Yes. Porn. Mmm, porn.

Oh, right, song. I should probably say something about that.

QUIET PIANO, awesome drums... kinda sounds like SOMEONE COULD BE A MCAWESOME HIPHOPPER?! Seriously. Try your hand at it. From what I heard of this, it sounds like you could get something awesome going.

Her voice is beautiful. Tell her I told you that. Then get her number for me.

...please? :D

Anywho, there's definitely not enough Khuskan in mah life. FIX THAT SHIT, BOYO.

Fifen, of course. Download, and favorited... and now, ladies and gentlemen, the moment you've all been waiting for and that I've been stumbling towards in an ADD-sleep deprived haze of METHAMPHETAMINE AND ABSINTHE, HUFFING KITTENS AS WELL...

j00 GETZ A MCPERFECTBURGAH.

WIT TEH SPEFFLE SAUCE.

Khuskan responds:

Hip-hop? Almost.

I love the backing music to a lot of hip-hop tracks, but I'm not much of a rap fan. That's why I went the trip-hop loop. I've gone into more depth in another review (NOT BECAUSE I DON'T LOVE YOU SOLUS, BUT BECAUSE I RESPONDED TO THAT FIRST) so give it a read if you get the chance.

Thanks :D

Since you asked oh so nicely...

First impression of this song: BANG BANG BANGITY BANG BANG BANG.

Damn, don't hit the keys so hard. I'm surprised that you haven't broken like four keyboards. Okay, next.

It kind of seems to be to me some mildly interesting high notes played between bangs. The echoes are nice on the higher notes, but really kind of unnecessary for the low ones- let them decay on their own.

Chords are awesome, however, there's one sour one. One. Only one.

You need to make it... I don't know. Link together. It's a nice beginning, but there's so much more you can do with the song.

Stopping the banging is first priority, it draws attention away.

Second priority, helping a flow would be a soft, repeating bit with one hand while you do the interesting things with the other. That's just my preferred method.

Anywho, I agree with MMD, 4/5 and it could use some work.

Duuuuuude.

Have you ever heard of Explosions in the Sky? Because you've got the makings of that sound.

And it is a beautiful sound.

Fifent. McAwesomeBurger't. Nine't. <3.

Huh.

Why did you lower the volume to almost zero at 0:30? This puzzles me.

It's a catchy melody, but the saw needs to have a bit more prominence- I like it, but it seems drowned out.

I like it. DON'T DROWN THE SAW. IT'LL COME BACK TO HAUNT YOU. BECAUSE THEN I'D DROWN YOU.

Um... threats aside, that's an interesting vox there... like you grabbed a small child off of the street... wait... that... I KNEW IT! >:(

Though the bass in this song shows awesomeness. AWESOMENESS. And the kicks, they could use a bit more oomph in a few places (aka where you're doing them on 1/8 or 1/16 notes instead of 1/4ths) but it sounds pretty awesome.

DOOT DOOT DOOT. And that's all I gotta say. You get NO BURGER FOR DEMOS. >:(

(Go check out "For Schala" and I promise I won't be so schizophrenic next time.)

KB...

You always know you've been my hero. :D

Masterful music you've got going on here.

McPerfect. :D

Impressive.

Emotional, gripping, atmospheric.

Quite possibly one of the best sad songs I've ever heard.

I can imagine it in my head.

And for fuck's sake, after all the reviewing you did of my music and I haven't reviewed any of yours? Tragedy. This must change.

I'll start on that now. But for this song, fifen and a McPerfectBurger. Because this is the shit.

Setu-Firestorm responds:

that's okay, Solus. I haven't been offended. =p

This is an old-as-hell piece, too (probably a good 4 years old now). Speaking of which, I have begun to write a screenplay for the story of which this piece goes to. HOpefully I can stick with it.

THanks for finally reviewing something of mine for once. ;-P

Wheeee!

So I looked on the audio front page, decided to take a look at the top 5, and my thoughts were "Hey, a POTC dance remix, why didn't I think of that?" So I listened to it for a while, and wondered to myself, "Well, who made such an awesome thing?"

So then I clicked on the song, and it became the most obvious thing ever.

Because, of course, who else?

Masterful work, this. McAwesome, if you will.

MaestroRage responds:

Well if you look REALLY closely, this is actually Mary had a Little pyschotic lamb! Thats right, I'm onto Zimmer and his children lullaby transforming ways. Why just last week he sent me an email *because we're close like that*, saying that that stupid little star that twinkles has had far too much good publicity, and that it was time to make it blow something up, EPIC STYLE!

I of course, egged him on and said he couldn't do it.

Lets wait and watch shall we!?

Thank you for the review and McAwesome Solus :D! I'm glad you liked it^^

Doot doot doot doot doot...

I don't see this as sad.

Rather triumphant, I'd say. Neither is it triumphant in the way a Pyrrhic victory would be- seems like something that would end a movie.

Roll the credits, cue the song.

Or rather, center on the hero and heroine, then slowly zoom out while this plays.

There's nothing sad here.

This is victory, my friend.

A McAwesome victory.

MusicalRocky responds:

Not sad, eh? Well, hmmm, I get what your saying, yes, I do see that in this piece as well.

Well, anyway, I'm glad you enjoyed it : D

Thanks for reviewin'

Rocky

Dissonantly creepy.

Because that's obviously what you were going for.

It's got a nice tone to it, but the strings that came in were entirely too loud and tried to rape me.

I didn't like that at all.

It's got a nice ambient feeling, but for the love of GOD, turn those strings down.

Because everything else is perfect.

MusicalRocky responds:

Haha

Sorry about that : (

Dammit I wish that delete feature was here already lol

Thanks for the review.

Rocky

Nice.

Why am I not surprised that this came from you? :D

"This is alright. Jesus will hold."

Survive the impending zombie outbreak. Ask me how.
