Not enough? More like... um...

You know you're my hero. We both know that.

That thunder made me look outside. >:(

But to be honest, this is professional. Professional like a pornstar. Who's been doing it for awhile. Yes. Porn. Mmm, porn.

Oh, right, song. I should probably say something about that.

QUIET PIANO, awesome drums... kinda sounds like SOMEONE COULD BE A MCAWESOME HIPHOPPER?! Seriously. Try your hand at it. From what I heard of this, it sounds like you could get something awesome going.

Her voice is beautiful. Tell her I told you that. Then get her number for me.

...please? :D

Anywho, there's definitely not enough Khuskan in mah life. FIX THAT SHIT, BOYO.

Fifen, of course. Download, and favorited... and now, ladies and gentlemen, the moment you've all been waiting for and that I've been stumbling towards in an ADD-sleep deprived haze of METHAMPHETAMINE AND ABSINTHE, HUFFING KITTENS AS WELL...

j00 GETZ A MCPERFECTBURGAH.

WIT TEH SPEFFLE SAUCE.

Khuskan responds:

Hip-hop? Almost.

I love the backing music to a lot of hip-hop tracks, but I'm not much of a rap fan. That's why I went the trip-hop loop. I've gone into more depth in another review (NOT BECAUSE I DON'T LOVE YOU SOLUS, BUT BECAUSE I RESPONDED TO THAT FIRST) so give it a read if you get the chance.

Thanks :D

Impressive.

Emotional, gripping, atmospheric.

Quite possibly one of the best sad songs I've ever heard.

I can imagine it in my head.

And for fuck's sake, after all the reviewing you did of my music and I haven't reviewed any of yours? Tragedy. This must change.

I'll start on that now. But for this song, fifen and a McPerfectBurger. Because this is the shit.

Setu-Firestorm responds:

that's okay, Solus. I haven't been offended. =p

This is an old-as-hell piece, too (probably a good 4 years old now). Speaking of which, I have begun to write a screenplay for the story of which this piece goes to. HOpefully I can stick with it.

THanks for finally reviewing something of mine for once. ;-P

Wheeee!

So I looked on the audio front page, decided to take a look at the top 5, and my thoughts were "Hey, a POTC dance remix, why didn't I think of that?" So I listened to it for a while, and wondered to myself, "Well, who made such an awesome thing?"

So then I clicked on the song, and it became the most obvious thing ever.

Because, of course, who else?

Masterful work, this. McAwesome, if you will.

MaestroRage responds:

Well if you look REALLY closely, this is actually Mary had a Little pyschotic lamb! Thats right, I'm onto Zimmer and his children lullaby transforming ways. Why just last week he sent me an email *because we're close like that*, saying that that stupid little star that twinkles has had far too much good publicity, and that it was time to make it blow something up, EPIC STYLE!

I of course, egged him on and said he couldn't do it.

Lets wait and watch shall we!?

Thank you for the review and McAwesome Solus :D! I'm glad you liked it^^

Doot doot doot doot doot...

I don't see this as sad.

Rather triumphant, I'd say. Neither is it triumphant in the way a Pyrrhic victory would be- seems like something that would end a movie.

Roll the credits, cue the song.

Or rather, center on the hero and heroine, then slowly zoom out while this plays.

There's nothing sad here.

This is victory, my friend.

A McAwesome victory.

MusicalRocky responds:

Not sad, eh? Well, hmmm, I get what your saying, yes, I do see that in this piece as well.

Well, anyway, I'm glad you enjoyed it : D

Thanks for reviewin'

Rocky

Dissonantly creepy.

Because that's obviously what you were going for.

It's got a nice tone to it, but the strings that came in were entirely too loud and tried to rape me.

I didn't like that at all.

It's got a nice ambient feeling, but for the love of GOD, turn those strings down.

Because everything else is perfect.

MusicalRocky responds:

Haha

Sorry about that : (

Dammit I wish that delete feature was here already lol

Thanks for the review.

Rocky

Meh.

Make the battle sounds stereo-ish and you've got them.

Seriously. This has great potential, and all it needs is a few clanging swords.

Though it doesn't quite seem complete. Where are the booming bass drums? That seems to be the only thing it needs. Very well organized, everything audible (damn I love that bell sample you keep using... GIMME) but it doesn't seem to be booming enough when it gets to the battle. You've got just the thing, though that crowd sound is annoying. A perfect example of how to work that would be in Nightwish's Tenth Man Down.

Anywho, while I like it, it's not your greatest work, and it needs work.

Whee sword echoey thingy.

FOUR FOR J00

MaestroRage responds:

Ah, you're the second to say those battle sounds are monotonic. Then it's official, they is quite in need of replacement. I didn't think they was that bad!

Oh well. Fix my error filled ways!

This is part one of a two part planned piece, thats where the booming madness is supposed to step in :D! I hope you'll hear the second part too, for I plan on bringing heaven to earth, and then slay everything that floats and glows all pretty.

In any case, I appreciate the review, thank you for that, i'm glad you found it enjoyable :)!

BASS OF DOOOOOOOOOM.

I'm drowning in bass. And that's a good thing.

However, a good bit of the song suffers from so much bass, but when you dropped it out, it was like a breath of fresh air.

Phasing is fun, ain't it?

Anywho, it's pretty awesome, I like the song a lot.

Though that snare sounds pretty lonely and low-quality. Makes me sad.

Anyways, definitely good for a five and McGreatBurger.

Keep it up. :D

Pulse6 responds:

Thanks for the review Solus!

And what about the McGreatFries? lol. Thanks again!

Pulse6

BELL SO PRETTY.

I want that bell sample/soundfont. >:( GIVE ME.

And yay for the Bassexp. I'd recognize that sound anywhere :D

All in all, very well done. I'd like to know just how the hell you manage to do these all this quickly! >:(

Amazing work thar.

McAwesomely amazing.

MaestroRage responds:

It's totally something I fund fer free!!!

That Bassexp is the best thing to grace my tree directory I tell you what!

I can do these at a high pace because I spend 2 hours every day kicking kittens and puppies, and Satan blesses me with energy.

Thank you for the burger, and teh review, i'm glad you liked it ^^.

Much better.

Now THIS is what I'm talking about. With the start-stop intro, and the awesome non-detached sounding percussion, the pretty pads that linked the silence, it all falls together in this piece. Shame no one else has reviewed it :D

Definitely an enjoyable listen, and professionally put together.

I expect awesome things from you.

Fifen't and the recipient of a McAwesomeBurger.

(Piano so sexy :D)

Sylacone responds:

its a shame no one comes to my page.

and I do expect some things from myself, but me being unable to provide due to stuff like, limited samples and people dying... its been hectic.

Hoping for more?

Good. Always hope for more. But also always be willing to work for it. :D

PSEUDO-SAGE WISDOM ASIDE, there isn't really much to this track that sets it apart. Definitely got a nice rhythm to it, but the percussion sounds detached from the track, as if it's not really part :D

You sliced up a drum loop, if I'm not mistaken?

Anyways, I liked it, but not much beyond that. I see potential :D

Fourfen't. :D

Sylacone responds:

Yeah, more like 9 drum loops... Doesnt matter, I wanted something for the occasion, seeing as my grandpa died. It sounds nice, thats all that matters.

Survive the impending zombie outbreak. Ask me how.
